Series summary - A nonsense comical mystery. Harumi Kazuhito is a high school boy who loves books and is a fan of novelist Natsuno Kirihime. One day, he finds Kirihime writing at a cafe, about to be shot by a robber. He protects her from the attack but is killed instead. Through the supernatural power of a book-worm, he is reincarnated as a dachshund dog. Kazuhito (as a dog) writhes in a painful bookless life, when a sadistic woman carrying a pair of scissors offers him help. She is Kirihime herself.
Thoughts -
Anyways, I think my expectations were really low for this because I ended up enjoying this first episode quite a bit. Kirihime and Kazuhito are pretty cool. I laughed a lot. The art style was a bit meh at first, but then I either got used to it or it got better. I probably got used to it.
I was getting the feeling that whatever she was writing came true. The robbery and him turning into a dog. When he mentioned the robbery she didn't answer...
If nothing else, i will be watching this for the characters alone. I'm interested in seeing where the plot goes, which I'm sure will take another couple episodes to settle into.
also why do i feel this is gonna be a bestiality harem? my guess as to why the female lead hasn't written her final book (lust) is that she has no experiences in that field so she will be using mr puppy as a stand in boyfriend. We'll see how it pans out.
The OP scenes remind me of the OP for Rosario Vampire S2. Well both were Gonzo so that kind of makes sense.
Goofs - Though its kinda random that he was reborn as a dog with all of his memories intact
Characters n Animation - Meh!
Punch joke - Hey Afro you've got a good taste in novels. Am I sucked into exploring Yaoi through LUST.
VERDICT = VAS + 10/10 scores. 7.5/10
5 points for Closing punch - On only get off on erotic books, n not 3 dimensional chicks. Now that I mention it, you are not very 3 dimensional.
My personal ADVICE - 3 episodes n 3 new characters before you decide to drop it.
